To be granted entry to the UK on a Fiancé Visa you will need to show that you have an intention to marry your British/ Settled significant other within 6 months of your arrival. After, your wedding has taken place you will be able to apply for a Spouse Visa so that you may remain in the UK for a further amount of time dictated by the Home Office. This is a route that leads to Settlement and eventually Citizenship if you meet the eligibility requirements.

There are no standout reasons why your application would be denied outside of the standard things to consider like criminality, misrepresenting facts or documents or any other application related information.
The usual time for the Home Office to decide is 24 weeks from the date that you attend your VAC (Visa Application Centre) appointment. However, like with any application the Home Office can take extra time to consider your application if they so require.
